init.d/bootmisc: POSIX XSI shellism.
In a pathname expansion, specifically single-character match, the pure
POSIX specification uses '!' as the Negation character where a regular
expression would normally be '^'.
Regular expression: "a[^a]a"
Pathname expansion pattern: "a[!a]a"
